Ana Lúcia Caeiro Ramos completed her PhD in Nursing in 2013 at Universidade Católica Portuguesa; her Master's in Public Health in 2004 at Universidade Nova de Lisboa; and her Bachelor in Nursing in 2001 at Escola Superior de Saúde da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa. Is an assistant professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal Health School, Sub-Coordinator of the Nursing Department, and Coordinator of the NURSE'IN UIESI Research Unit. She has published 18 articles in specialized magazines and has authored 26 book chapters and five books. She has supervised several master's dissertations and has participated in several master's and doctoral juries. Has participated as an Investigator in seven projects, three of which were/are financed by FCT and ERASMUS+. Works in the area of Health Sciences with an emphasis on the health of children and young people in the family: early childhood development and empowerment opportunities. In the educational field, I have an interest in higher education and innovative teaching methodologies, and collaborative and methods of co-creation.
