Dr. Jacques Raphael works as an Assistant Professor of oncology at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University and a medical oncologist at the London Regional Cancer Program at the London Health Sciences Centre. He holds an MD from Saint Joseph’s University and a master’s degree in science (epidemiology) from the University of Toronto. He completed a translational research fellowship within the thoracic oncology department at the Gustave Roussy Cancer Campus and a postdoctoral fellowship in lung and breast tumors at Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre. He has an interest and experience in leading and conducting biomarker studies to identify and validate blood-based and tumor markers. He is the recipient of many awards, including the ASCO Merit Award, the NOYCIA Award, and the ESMO Young Investigator Award.
