This paper investigates the application of convolutional neural networks (CNNs), particularly the UNet model architecture, to improve the accuracy of breast cancer tumor segmentation in ultrasound images. Accurate identification of breast cancer is essential for effective patient treatment. However, ultrasound images, often contain noise and artifacts, which can complicate the task of tumor segmentation. Therefore, to highlight the most robust architecture, modifications were made to the original set, including the addition of noise and fuzziness. In this study, a comparative study of five different variants of UNet models (UNet, Attention UNet, UNet++, Dense Inception UNet and Residual UNet) was conducted on a diverse set of ultrasound images with different breast tumors. Using consistent training methods and techniques of augmentation and adding noise to the data, an improvement in segmentation accuracy was highlighted when using the Dense Inception UNet architecture. The results have potential practical applications in the field of medical diagnosis and can assist medical professionals in automatic tumor segmentation in breast cancer ultrasound images. This study highlights the improvement of segmentation accuracy by introducing dense induction into the UNet architecture. Importantly, the Dice coefficient, a key segmentation metric, improved markedly, increasing from 0.973 to 0.976 after data augmentation. The results of the study offer promise to the medical community by offering a more accurate and reliable approach to segmenting breast cancer lesions on ultrasound images. The findings can be implemented in clinical practice to assist radiologists in early cancer diagnosis.

The contributions of this paper are two-fold. First, it uses machine learning tools to detect and monitor glaucoma. Second, it provides insight into medicine, which can assist healthcare professionals in improving disease diagnostic accuracy and help to reduce the progression and degeneration of retinal ganglion cells in patients. Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that damage the optic nerve, which can cause vision loss and blindness at any age. The main symptom of glaucoma in the early stages is high internal eye pressure. It is still unknown what causes these diseases to develop, but if not treated, they result in optic nerve atrophy. For this reason, in this paper we propose a novel deep learning system for the automatic diagnosis of glaucoma using a convolutional neural network for classification, which demonstrates improved performance and records computation time for fundus images. The results showed an accuracy of 94 % and a loss value of only 0.27. The model we have created to investigate with Keras helped us achieve good results in our training and testing process. These study results demonstrate the ability of a deep learning model to identify glaucoma from fundus images. Increasing the filter size and training the model resulted in a higher accuracy rate. A population survey that was conducted in 2019 shows that most patients with glaucoma become aware of their disease late, after the disease causes a high level of optic nerve damage and a high percentage of vision loss. Early diagnosis and detection of glaucoma using optic nerve imaging technology have gained wide clinical interest in stopping or slowing the progression of the disease, allowing the development of new algorithms to automate the diagnosis of eye diseases

Singular value decomposition is a powerful computational method used to analyze the matrix and which has many applications in various fields. Its essence lies in the expansion of the original matrix as a product of three matrices: two orthogonal and one diagonal. One consequence of this expansion is the possibility of approximating the original matrix, matrix of lower rank, which can significantly compress the information contained in the original matrix. In this work we investigate the impact of this mechanism on the compression frequency matrix "terms-documents" that are based on counting the occurrence of words in natural language texts. A specific example analyzes the physical meaning of such impacts, and provides a new interpretation of the results, useful for analyzing the structure of any real-world objects, for which we can construct a matrix of their states.

Diabetes is among the socially significant diseases, which leads to high costs for the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes. Diagnosis and treatment of diabetes is currently one of the important tasks in medicine at the present stage of development of medical services. An important direction in the development of medical services for the population is the development and implementation of various problem-oriented information systems. Similar systems developed earlier did not cover the entire amount of heterogeneous information that is collected when diagnosing and prescribing the course of diabetes treatment, nor did they use technologies and cloud services as tools for Big Data. In this article, let’s make use of the predictive analytic to forecast and categorize the type of diabetes which offers an effective method for treating and curing patients at a reduced cost, with improved results such as affordability and availability. An information system platform has been developed and configured to manage the Hadoop cluster, as well as a non-relational database that uses and processes unstructured data in various formats. All experimental research, development of methods and algorithms, as well as solving computational problems were implemented using software languages for application development. The novelty lies in the research of distributed computing models that provide efficient execution of developed algorithms using the conceptual model of the processes of search, extraction and analysis of unstructured data in large data sets. The practical implementation of algorithms was carried out on the basis of methods of object-oriented programming and object-oriented databases
