Evando S. Araújo is a Professor at the Federal University of
Vale do São Francisco—UNIVASF. He has a degree in Mathematics and Physics, a
PhD in Industrial Engineering (UFBA) and a Post-Doctorate in the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Coimbra (DEEC-UC,
Portugal, 2016). His current research interests include nanotechnology and new
materials (with an emphasis on the preparation, characterization, and
application of polymeric and ceramic nanostructures) and the areas of
mathematics and physics teaching. He is a member of the editorial board and reviewer
of national and international journals in mathematics, physics, and materials.
He is a permanent professor of the Postgraduate Programs in Materials Science
(CPGCM) and the Professional Master’s in Mathematics (PROFMAT) at UNIVASF. Prof. Araújo is a member of the Brazilian Physics Society and the National Institute of Science and Technology of the Brazilian Economic and Industrial Health Complex.
