Evando S. Araújo is a Professor at the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco—UNIVASF. He has a degree in Mathematics and Physics, a PhD in Industrial Engineering (UFBA) and a Post-Doctorate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Coimbra (DEEC-UC, Portugal, 2016). His current research interests include nanotechnology and new materials (with an emphasis on the preparation, characterization, and application of polymeric and ceramic nanostructures) and the areas of mathematics and physics teaching. He is a member of the editorial board and reviewer of national and international journals in mathematics, physics, and materials. He is a permanent professor of the Postgraduate Programs in Materials Science (CPGCM) and the Professional Master’s in Mathematics (PROFMAT) at UNIVASF. Prof. Araújo is a member of the Brazilian Physics Society and the National Institute of Science and Technology of the Brazilian Economic and Industrial Health Complex.

Short Biography
