Dr. Sweta Bhattacharya is presently working as an Assistant Professor (Senior) in the School of Information Technology & Engineering. She pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, obtained a Masters degree from State University of New York, Binghamton (Binghamton University), USA, in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and obtained a Ph.D in Information Technology from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. She has more than 11+ years of academic and 2 years of industrial experience. She has published more than 45 publications in peer-reviewed, reputed, international and national journals and has ongoing international collaborative consultancy projects to her credit. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Data Mining, Blockchain Technologies, Applied Statistics, Multi-Criteria Decision Making, Software Engineering and Software Project Management.
