Dr. S. Umadevi received a graduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, affiliated with Anna University, in 2006; M.E. (Applied Electronics) from Kongu Engineering College, affiliated with Anna University in 2008; and a doctorate in the field of Digital Filters from VIT University in 2020. In August 2008, she joined WIPRO Technologies, Bangalore, as a Project Engineer in the VLSI domain. Later, in October 2009, she joined SRM University as an assistant professor in the department of ECE. She has published more than 18 research papers in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals and at international conferences. Her research interests include different aspects of low-power VLSI circuit design and high-speed algorithms, architecture development, and post-layout optimization. Presently she is working as an associate professor in the School of Electronics Engineering, VIT University, Chennai.
