Professor Vladimír Bureš received his PhD in Information and Knowledge Management. Currently, he is the head of the Department of Information Technologies at the University of Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. He has already published six books and tens of scientific papers published at several journals or in conference proceedings. He has attended both international and national research projects (e.g. 6th or 7th European Framework Program projects). He focuses on system dynamics, systems engineering, information and knowledge management. He is a member of the System Dynamics Society and the International Council on Systems Engineering.
