Dr. Giovanni Ricci is currently a research director at the CNR Institute of Chemical Sciences and Technologies “Giulio Natta” (SCITEC). He graduated in Chemistry with honors at the University of Parma on 15 July 1982, and he obtained his PhD in Chemical Sciences on 31 October 1987. He is the author of about 290 publications, divided into papers in international scientific journals (n. 150), international patents (n. 40), and conference communications. His research activity mainly concerns the synthesis of organometallic complexes and their use in the stereospecific polymerization of vinyl monomers, conjugated diolefins in particular.
