Prof. Junwei Lu

Prof. Junwei Lu is a Foundation Professor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Griffith University and Director of the Microgrid Technology Laboratory, Electrical Power Laboratory, and Director of Power Electronics and Magnetics Laboratory. He obtained his PhD in Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Kanazawa University. His fields of interest are computational electromagnetics, EMC computer modeling and simulation, and high-frequency magnetics for power electronics and renewable energy systems. His current research interests include smart transformers and high-frequency rotary transformers, WPT with magnetic flux concentrator for EVs and AGVs, V2G with built-in station and APF functions, smart hybrid AC/DC microgrids, and EMS.
