He is a Research Professor for Molecular Biology, University of Applied Sciences, Wildau and Head of “Molecular Biotechnology and Functional Genome Analysis”. He studied molecular biology and received his PhD from the Medical Faculty, Heidelberg. He was a PhD student, Post-Doc, and Vice Head of the Functional Genome Analysis Department at the German Cancer Research Center, Heidelberg (DKFZ). Currently, he is Head of the Molecular Biotechnology and Functional Genomics Department at the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Wildau and a Research Professor for Molecular Biology. Prof. Frohme’s knowledge and experience in microscopy and biology have been a strong asset in developing the technology behind the Oculyze system.
