Prof. Lu Chen is a professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and received her doctorate from Wuhan University. She was approved for the National Natural Science Foundation of China Excellent Youth Fund in 2019 and was elected as the director and deputy secretary-general of Hubei Hydropower Society in 2018. Her research focuses on multivariate hydrological analysis and calculation, flood control and risk analysis of reservoir groups, river basin flood forecasting, and the comprehensive development, utilization, and management of water resources.
