Prof. Maximiano Ribeiro

Prof. Dr. Maximiano P. Ribeiro obtained his Ph.D. in Biomedicine in 2014 and his BSc and MSc degrees in Biochemistry Sciences from the University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal, respectively. Professor at the Instituto Politecnico of Guarda-Escola Superior de Saúde, in the area of biomedical and bioanalytical sciences. Researcher at CICS-UBI (Center for Research in Health Sciences, University of Beira Interior) and the CPIRN-IPG (Centre of Potential and Innovation of Natural Resources—Research Unit for Inland Development—Polytechnic Insitute of Guarda). He develops research in the area of medical and health sciences, with a focus on biomaterials and tissue engineering.
