Kyungtae Kang (S'05–M'06) received his B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Seoul National University, Korea, in 1999, 2001, and 2007, respectively. From 2008 to 2010, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois, Urbana–Champaign. In 2011, he joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Hanyang University, Korea, where he is currently an associate professor. His research interests are primarily in systems, including operating, wireless, distributed, and real-time embedded systems. His recent research interests are in the interdisciplinary area of cyber-physical systems. He is a member of ACM and IEEE Computer Society.
