The paper is devoted to the analysis of the digital transformation processes that are currently taking place in the economy, production, education and society as a whole. The main reason digital transformation is impact of the digital technologies. Modern digital technologies, services and systems are extremely important for social development. One of the key issues for the implementation of digital transformation is changes in the way of thinking and requirements for the competencies of workers in the industry. First of all, it is connected with people’s understanding of digital transformation processes and with their ability to use digital technologies effectively. For specifying Ukrainian educators’ awareness level about digital transformation processes, there were conducted survey. Research results have shown that there is a need to increase their awareness level about digital transformation processes. Based on the analysis of the considered researches the authors have developed a generalized model of digital transformation for enterprises, businesses and educational institutions.

According to the Development Concept of the Digital Economy and Society in Ukraine, the priority of this area is to develop a substantial national policy on digitalization of education, as this is the key part of the education reform in Ukraine. For this reason, universities should firstly take into account the particularities of teaching the current generation of students and the needs of the digital society as a whole. This paper considers the process of transition from informatization to digitalization in society, implementation of digital support for the educational process in the university, development of the digital educational environment for the training university teachers, and proposes the digital tools for such an environment. The authors propose several ways to improve the development level of digitalization of the educational environment in the university. This is to take into account the needs of the digital society and the modern generation of students, provide a high level of the digital literacy formation of university graduates and support the development of a new digital security system of the modern university. Aiming to design the digital educational environment for increasing the of educators’ digital literacy level, the authors propose to develop and implement the following computer, multimedia and computer-based learning tools and equipment, which includes blended and distance learning classes, cloud technologies, tools of virtual and augmented reality, tools for gamification of the educational process, educational robotics, tools for learning 3D technologies, MOOCs.

In today's world, where artificial intelligence (AI) is finding more and more applications in various fields of human activity, its role in education is becoming extremely relevant. The paper focuses on teachers' digital competence in the field of AI, highlighting both theoretical aspects and practical opportunities and challenges. The main focus of the study is to analyse teachers' attitudes towards AI, their understanding of its potential for the educational process, and to identify the main obstacles and challenges they face in implementing it. The authors emphasise that despite the recognition of the great potential of AI for personalising learning and optimising the educational process, many teachers still experience significant difficulties with its use due to the insufficient level of digital competence. This paper describes the digital AI tools that can be useful in professional pedagogical activities and classifies them according to the teachers' needs. A survey conducted among teachers has shown that most respondents have a limited understanding of AI, its potential uses, and potential risks. Based on the results of the study, the authors developed recommendations for the development of teachers' digital competence in the field of AI, emphasising the need to clarify the concept of digital competence and adapt existing educational programmes. The authors believe that teacher training for the use of AI in professional activities should include not only technical aspects, but also ethical, social, and psychological components to ensure responsible and effective implementation of these technologies in the educational process. One of the main conclusions of the study is that the active implementation of AI tools into the educational process requires not only updating the content of education, but also the development of new pedagogical strategies that would take into account the peculiarities of the digital learning environment. The authors emphasise the importance of developing teachers' readiness for continuous professional development in the context of rapid technological change, as well as creating effective mechanisms to support and stimulate their interest in using innovative technologies in the educational process.

This manifesto advocates for the thoughtful integration of AI in education, emphasising a human-centred approach amid the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI). The chapter explores the transformative potential of large language models (LLM) and generative AI (GenAI) in education, addressing both opportunities and concerns. While AI accelerates change in education, adapting to students’ diverse learning needs, it also poses challenges to traditional assessment paradigms. The manifesto stresses the importance of empowering teachers and students as decision-makers, highlighting the need for a balanced approach to AI integration. It emphasises human-centricity in AI use, promoting ethical considerations, responsible practices, and regulations. The right to choose and co-create is underscored, giving autonomy to educators and learners in selecting technologies aligned with their philosophies. Additionally, the manifesto introduces the concept of hybrid intelligence (HI), advocating collaboration between human and machine intelligence to enhance educational experiences. The manifesto encourages creative uses of AI in education, envisioning a harmonious partnership where AI and humans co-create transformative knowledge.

The rapid growth of robotics as an applied industry has created a pressing demand for robotics specialists skilled in the development, design, and programming of robots. This has led to the widespread popularity of robotics as an educational trend, both in Ukraine and worldwide. Integrating educational robotics into STEAM education offers a powerful platform for cultivating students’ soft skills, enabling them to tackle real-world socially significant projects and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Consequently, there is a crucial need to equip pre-service teachers with the necessary skills to effectively teach educational robotics to students. This article addresses the issue of establishing a comprehensive model of competences in educational robotics for teachers and explores strategies for their development. The research demonstrates that pre-service computer science teachers exhibit the highest readiness to teach educational robotics in secondary schools. The article focuses on developing and validating a model of competences in educational robotics for pre-service computer science teachers, highlighting its effectiveness through the teaching of educational robotics disciplines. By fostering competence development among teachers, this study aims to advance the integration of educational robotics in classrooms, empowering students to thrive in a digitally-driven society.
