Sanggil Lee received his BS (2007) and MS (2009) in food science and biotechnology from KyungHee University. Then, he graduated from the University of Connecticut and obtained his PhD in nutrition science in 2015. After graduating, he was a postdoctoral researcher at North Carolina A&T State University from 2015 to 2017. He joined Pukyong National University in 2018, and is now an associate professor in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition, with expertise in food chemistry and functional food research.
