Chen Ying is an associate professor of Urban Underground Space Engineering at the University of South China. From September 2016 to June 2019, he received his Doctor's degree from Central South University. Since March 2021, he has worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Guangxi Huaxi Group. He is mainly engaged in teaching and research in geotechnical engineering, urban underground space engineering, mining engineering and rock mechanics.
