1. Dr. Yue Ma is an Assistant Professor in the college of Mechatronic and Control Engineering at Shenzhen University. He graduated with a B.Eng (Mech) (First Hons.)/B.Sc in 2017 and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Monash University in 2021. His research interests lie in the structural health monitoring, thermal imaging and multimodal fusion robotics. 2. Dr. Benjamin Steven Vien is a Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Monash University. He graduated with a B.Eng (Mech) (First Hons.)/B.Sc in 2013 and a Ph.D. in Engineering in 2017. His research interests lie in the multidisciplinary fields of structural and human health monitoring, particularly in applications related to civil, healthcare, and defense. Dr. Vien is the lead researcher on ARC Linkage Projects focused on UAV–based sensing and machine learning capabilities to advance the digital twin concept for critical assets, in partnership with Melbourne Water Corporation. Additionally, he is a key investigator on patented medical devices for diagnosing bone-implant osseointegration and fractured femurs, in collaboration with The Alfred. His expertise also encompasses collaborative efforts to explore using acoustic wave interrogation methods and innovative single-crystal transducers for damage characterization.
