Aquaculture is one of the fastest growing productive sectors in recent years, so much so that it has surpassed traditional fishing. The aim is to make its production processes sustainable, mainly economically and environmentally, through continuous innovation. Hence, the objective is to determine the relevance of sustainable innovation management in the shrimp sector in the municipality of Guasave, state of Sinaloa, Mexico, as a determining factor in the search for social and environmental well-being in this region of the Mexican Pacific. With this in mind, the present research was designed as an exploratory–explanatory study, under a qualitative approach with a multiple case study strategy using the Likert scale. To this purpose, 24 surveys were applied to the owners and managers of six farms specializing in shrimp production, with a continuous production of 10 years and a minimum of 100 hectares cultivated in recent years. Each survey consisted of seven themes and a total of 37 items to analyze eight indicators which influence the sustainable innovative management of the shrimp sector. The survey results indicate that the perception of entrepreneurs toward the relevance of sustainable innovation management is favorable, with 96% agreeing to encourage innovation, 83% agreeing to invest in new equipment and methods, and 83% in favor of their participation in markets. Moreover, the correlation between the indicators to determine the influence of sustainable innovation management is significant at 0.69 and 0.86.
The objective of this article was to analyze business management aimed at the prevention of psychosocial risks in the automotive sector of Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico, based on the application of the Official Mexican Standard NOM-035-STPS-2018. The implementation focused on identifying the levels of psychosocial risk within organizations in the sector. A quantitative approach with a descriptive design was used, applying Reference Guide III of the standard to a sample of workers from automotive companies. The results revealed that, although a generally low level of psychosocial risk was identified, high risks were also found in critical domains such as leadership, workplace violence, performance recognition, and working conditions. This highlights the need to strengthen business management strategies through the implementation of comprehensive programs that address organizational factors affecting workers' mental health and well-being. The research contributes to the understanding of the practical application of the standard in a local context, emphasizing the importance of active corporate participation in the prevention of psychosocial risks as part of their social responsibility and as a key element for improving productivity and workplace climate.
The agricultural sector of Sinaloa is one of the most representative in Mexico. Its economic and social contributions are of great magnitude, as is its scale of production and the social impacts it generates. The objective was to study the perception of maize farmers in the municipality of Guasave on agricultural public policies and their impact on sustainable results in the sector. The methodology was quantitative-descriptive and cross-sectional. A sample of 260 farmers was analysed out of a study population of 18,650, to whom a survey was applied using the Likert scale. The internal consistency of the instrument was validated using the McDonald omega test, giving a (ω) of 0.868, considered reliable. Kendall’s Tau-c was used to find the relationship between the category and its respective subcategories. The results showed statistically significant correlations (Sig < 5%) that were greater than 0.7, so it was considered that the category “Public policies and sustainable development” showed a strong correlation with the subcategories “Governance and agricultural sustainability” and “Public policies in agriculture”. The results indicate that there is a need for greater attention to public policies, from their design to implementation. Agricultural activity has had a negative impact on a sustainable environment due to the current production methods. It is considered that to achieve significant progress in this sector, studies are needed to help detect and correct these problems and encourage greater participation of the actors in the sector in their work through training and the dissemination of sustainable practices.

The instrument was subjected to internal consistency measurement using McDonald's Omega coefficient, yielding an adequate value of W=0.874. The findings show that there are challenges for the educational institution and the teachers themselves in aspects of training, better self-management and programs that strengthen sustainable training are required, so the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda can help improve the situation. This research highlights the importance of analyzing the economic impact of international trade agreements on the agricultural sector, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises. The objective of the study is to examine the economic impact of international trade agreements on the exports of agricultural products of Agrícola ROPAPA, located in Guasave, Sinaloa, considering changes in income, export volume, and competitiveness in the international market. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques within a case study design, with a cross-sectional scope and descriptive–explanatory approach. Data collection was conducted during the 2025 agricultural season through semi-structured interviews with management personnel, Likert-scale surveys applied to staff, and direct observation of productive and commercial processes, which allowed for data triangulation. The results show positive effects on market access, product quality improvement, and the company’s competitive preparedness; however, challenges persist related to rising costs, non-tariff barriers, and limited technical training. It is concluded that international trade agreements represent relevant instruments for the international integration of the agricultural sector, although their full utilization requires public policies and business strategies that promote more equitable and sustainable adaptation.
