I hold a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF, Brazil) and a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Aspects of Biology from La Rochelle Université (France). I also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Studies and Research on Medicinal Plants (NEPLAME, Brazil). Currently, I'm an Associate Professor of Pharmacognosy at the Faculté de Pharmacie, Université Paris Cité, working within the CiTCoM UMR 8038 CNRS research unit (Cibles Thérapeutiques et Conception de Médicaments). Since 2019, I have been the co-founder and Young Researcher Coordinator of the Franco-Brazilian Network on Natural Products (FB2NP). I'm also a member of the Association Francophone pour l'Enseignement et la Recherche en Pharmacognosie (AFERP), Brazilian Society of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemical Society of Europe. My research expertise includes phytochemistry, eco-friendly extraction and purification techniques for secondary metabolites, and the study of plant-endophytes interactions for the biotransformation of natural molecules with anticancer and antiparasitic potential.
