Dr. S. Nasir is a researcher and educator at Federal University Dutse, Nigeria. He earned his Ph.D. in Advanced Materials from the Institute of Advanced Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia; MSc. in Petroleum Geochemistry from Newcastle University upon Tyne, UK; and BSc. in Chemistry from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria. Nasir does research in Materials Chemistry, Green Chemistry, Nanoscience and Geochemistry. His current project is 'Synthesis, characterisation and application of carbon-based nanomaterials for energy storage application'. Have demonstrated capacity for effective University Teaching, Research, Leadership and Community Service. Highly motivated, responsible, and able to work independently in a structured manner, and as part of a team, with good interpersonal and communication skill.
