Rita C. M. Sales-Contini is a Visiting Researcher Fellow at the ISEP, Mechanical Engineering Department at Institute Polytechnique of Porto (IPP) (Portugal) and Laboratory of New Concepts in Aeronautics at Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA-Brazil), and a Full-Time Professor at Faculdade de Tecnologia de São José dos Campos (Brazil). She has a PhD an MSc in Aerospace Materials and Engineering from ITA (Brazil), and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from EEL-USP (Brazil). She has been involved in projects funded by different companies on nanocomposite manufacturing, recycling composite materials and repair of wind turbine blades.She is a reviewer of several journals on material composite areas. She is an Ad hoc of the Permanent Committee for Full-Time Research Projects at CPS, and also a member of the scientific committee of the Brazilian conference.
