Xiang Zhong graduated from College of Animal Science and Technology, Nanjing Agricultural University in 2010. He worked as a visiting scholar in Professor Eugene Chang’s Laboratory (2014-2015), Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology, University of Chicago, and later worked in Professor Chuan He’s laboratory (2017-2019), Department of Chemistry, University of Chicago. His research interests are animal nutrition and mucosal immunity, Chinese herbal medicine, plant extracts, epigenetic transcriptomics, and intestine-liver stem cells.
