Dr. Faisal Gulzar earned his Ph.D. Pharmacology from University of Sargodha, Pakistan, after completing his M.Phil. Pharmacology and Pharm D degrees from the same institution. With over a decade of academic and research experience, Dr. Gulzar has held diverse roles in educational and research institutions. He served as Chairperson of the Department of Pharmacy and Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Chenab, Gujrat, and previously held a similar position at the University of Lahore. Dr. Gulzar's research contributions extend to his tenure as a Research Fellow at the National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (NIBGE), Faisalabad, Pakistan, and at Institute Bergonie U916, INSERM, Bordeaux, France. Currently, he serves as the Chairperson of the Department of Pharmacy and an Associate Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Chenab. Leading a research group focused on epidemiology, mutagenicity, antimutagenicity, hepatoprotective, and anti-inflammatory activities, Dr. Gulzar actively engages in teaching, research supervision, and academic administration. He is a member of prestigious professional societies such as the European Association of Cancer Research (EACR), American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), and European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). Dr. Gulzar has received several awards, including the Young Investigator Award from MOKAD, WHO Fellowship, indigenous Ph.D. fellowship, and IRSIP fellowship from HEC, Pakistan.
