Ph.D. in Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, and Professor-Researcher category Seven at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, with a PRODEP profile. Member of the National System of Researchers level I (SNI) and active member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences. His lines of research are automation engineering, embedded systems, renewable energy, agriculture, horticulture, and biosystems.
