Prof. Dr. Jungwon Huh is a professor and the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at Chonnam National University, Gwangju, Korea. He earned his Ph.D. degree (1999) in civil engineering from the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, USA. He has authored several book chapters and over 80 technical papers on various aspects of the risk, reliability, and performance of structural and geotechnical engineering systems such as buildings, bridges, nuclear power plants, bridge foundations, etc.
