Dr. Anton Manakhov is petroleum Scientist at the Advanced Materials Team, based in Aramco's Moscow Research Center. Anton has over 20 years of experience in plasma technologies, surface modification and characterization. His research interests include plasma discharges, nanofibers, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, water treatment, plasma polymerization, nanoparticles, hydrogen technologies and CO2 utilization. He authored and co-authored more than 60 publications in peer-review journals that attracted more than 900 citations. He holds MSc degree in physical chemistry from Ivanovo State University of Chemistry and Technology and Ph.D in Physics from University of Namur, Namur, Belgium.
