Dr. Xi Meng is a professor at the Innovation Institute for Sustainable Maritime Architecture Research and Technology (ISMART), Qingdao University of Technology. From 2012 to 2016, he was a Lecturer at the School of Architecture and Urban Rural Planning, Sichuan Agricultural University. He completed his PhD studies majoring in civil engineering, at Sichuan University, from 2012 to 2016. In addition, he is a director of the Asian Urban Environment Society, the head of the Shandong Coastal Green Building and New Energy Utilization Team, and an editorial board member of the 《Journal of ISMART》and《City
and Built Environment》. His research focuses on building energy efficiency, green buildings, and passive building technologies.
