Gindrovel Gheorghe Dumitra is a Associate Profesor in the discipline of family medicine, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Craiova, Romania, and he is a family physician. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova in 1998 and received his Doctor of Medical Sciences degree in 2016. He has accumulated his professional experience in surgery and the academic environment at the national and international level. His current interest is manifested in the field of family medicine, vaccinology, social science, and behavior science. He is a member of the Romanian National Society of Family Medicine, an honorary member of the Romanian Society of Microbiology, a founding member of the Romanian Society for Vaccination and Health Promotion Strategies, and a member of the Romanian Travel Medicine Society.
