Wojciech Janczukowicz received his M.Sc. degree in Environmental Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology in 1980, and his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology in 1990. He received the title of professor in 2015. He was the Head of the Environment Engineering Department and at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Director of the Institute of Engineering and Environmental Protection and Deputy Dean of Faculty of Environmental  Sciences and Deputy Rector of  University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. He was the Programme Board Vice-Chairman of the Regional Center of Environmental Education, Olsztyn from 1994 to 1996, and a Board Member of the Environmental Engineers Association at Olsztyn from 2004 to 2008. He has been a member of the Sanitary Engineering Section of the Committee on Civil Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences since 2016. He was elected to the Council of Scientific Excellence for the 2024-2027 term.
