Due to the business complexity and competitive environment, hotels are paying great attention to improve their sustainability performance through greening their workforce. Thus, this study examines the role of Green HRM practices in attaining sustainable environmental performance in Malaysian hotels while considering the crucial role of employees' pro-environmental attitudes, green behaviors, and green work climate perceptions. Data were collected from the employees who were directly engaged in implementing green practices in selected hotels. A survey questionnaire was used for data collection, and about 350 responses were received and applied for analysis through PLS-SEM. Findings revealed that Green HRM practices (green training and involvement, green performance management and compensation) positively and significantly influence employees' pro-environmental attitudes, further promoting green behaviors. It was also found that employees' green behaviors are the key contributors to spurring sustainable hotel performance. Therefore, this study might support decision-makers in understanding the role of Green HR practices in greening the workforce in the hospitality industry context.

Purpose: Protecting the planet from unprecedented environmental crises in the presence of economic expansion has become a critical global concern. Hence, the current study aims to analyze the impact of nations’ green behaviors that they adopt to protect the planet while promoting economic expansion. Additionally, the study explores the moderating role of ES in the nexus of GI and green growth.Design/methodology/approach: Data were collected over a period of 1990–2019. Analysis was conducted by employing panel data analysis techniques and various robustness tests, including multicollinearity, serial correlation and spatial correlation, for a sample of 33 nations by categorizing in Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS) economies as well as in the pre- and post-financial crisis period.Findings: Analysis of the composite sample reveals a significant positive impact of green investments and green innovations on green growth. Further analysis reveals a significant moderating role of environmental policy stringency in OECD economies, especially in the pre-financial crisis period. The interaction slope shows that the contribution of green innovations to green growth is positive at high and medium levels of ES. However, in the case of BRICS economies, this moderating role is insignificant.Practical implications: Study findings signify the importance of stakeholder environment and urge governments to prioritize funds for sectors practicing environmentally friendly behaviors to foster green growth and stresses for more effective infrastructure of policy implementation, monitoring and evaluation.Originality/value: The relationship of green investments, innovations and green growth has been established largely in existing literature; however, there is a dearth of studies to analyze the moderating role of ES. Hence the current study investigates this moderating role in the nexus of nations’ green behavior and green growth in different stakeholder environments and contexts.

Even though the significance of the China–Pakistan economic corridor (CPEC) is frequently discussed on various international forums, its economic, socio-cultural, and environmental impacts in a geographically constrained area have not yet been studied precisely. Consequently, the goal of this study is to look into how CPEC Infrastructural Development (CPECID) would regenerate the tourism market in Gilgit Baltistan (GB), a Pakistani administrative territory. The basic data gathered via a convenience sample strategy is subjected to a quantitative analysis approach. In total, 336 inhabitants of GB participated in a closed-ended online survey that was used to gather data. The results showed that CPECID has a favorable influence on regenerative tourist growth and development in the area and that this link is partially mediated by economic, socio-cultural, and environmental impacts. The study’s conclusions have important implications for authorities creating regenerative tourist promotion plans, in addition to adding to the body of knowledge on tourism.

While artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed educational contexts through automated feedback generation, critical fragmentation exists in understanding its sustained impact on student learning trajectories, particularly regarding emotion recognition technologies in mobile STEM education. This systematic review investigates AI-driven adaptive learning systems in mobile education, examining personalization strategies, effectiveness measures, and user interaction patterns to establish foundations for emotion-aware educational technologies. A systematic literature review following PRISMA guidelines was conducted across major academic databases, yielding 39 eligible studies from 2015–2025. Bibliometric analysis using R Studio’s bibliometric package examined research patterns, collaboration networks, and thematic evolution. Network analysis of key term co-occurrences and cluster analysis identified conceptual relationships and structural hierarchies within the research domain. The field demonstrates exponential growth with a 32.75% annual increase in research output, particularly since 2022. Mobile learning emerged as the dominant conceptual hub (betweenness centrality: 197.446), with AI and personalized learning serving as critical connectors between research domains. Three primary themes were identified: personalization strategies establishing sophisticated frameworks for learner modeling and context-aware adaptation; effectiveness measures revealing consistent improvements in academic performance and engagement across STEM contexts; and user interaction patterns exposing both transformative potential and challenges concerning data privacy and usability considerations. This study provides the first comprehensive systematic mapping of AI-driven mobile learning through the lens of emotion recognition potential, revealing substantial gaps in longitudinal impact assessment and theoretical integration. Findings advance understanding of how the Adaptive Feedback Regulation Framework can be enhanced through emotion-aware technologies, offering practical insights for implementing sophisticated personalization strategies. Future research should prioritize longitudinal studies examining sustained impact, crosscultural acceptance patterns, and ethical implications of emotion recognition in educational contexts.

Mobile learning applications have proliferated across educational contexts without systematic understanding of which pedagogical design patterns effectively support learning across different educational levels. This study developed a comprehensive pedagogical evaluation framework through systematic bibliometric analysis of mobile learning literature to identify design patterns and assess their effectiveness across K-12, higher education, and professional training contexts. Following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines, we analyzed 53 documents (2006–2025) from Scopus using bibliometric techniques, network analysis, and thematic clustering to examine conceptual structures, collaboration patterns, and knowledge evolution. The analysis revealed fundamental fragmentation: while mobile learning demonstrates robust growth (9.89% annual increase) and dominates as the field’s organizing principle (betweenness centrality: 450.668), critical pedagogical concepts including instructional design, student engagement, and collaborative learning remain isolated with zero betweenness centrality. Educational level representation proved uneven (K-12: n = 9; higher education: n = 11; professional training: n = 5), with minimal comparative analysis across contexts. Ten distinct research clusters operated in isolation, with instructional design showing high internal consistency (density: 127.958) but minimal mainstream integration (centrality: 2.591). The predominance of short-term studies (60.4%) and limited international collaboration (15.09%) further constrains understanding of sustained impact and cross-cultural applicability. These findings expose a persistent technology-pedagogy divide undermining mobile learning’s educational potential, necessitating integrated frameworks that prioritize pedagogical design over technological innovation. Future research requires longitudinal investigations, systematic cross-level comparisons, and proactive examination of emerging technologies’ interaction with pedagogical principles to establish evidence-based guidelines for context-appropriate mobile learning design.

By adopting the lens of push and pull theory, this study examines the impact of a destination’s cultural, environmental, and socio-economic image on destination loyalty, with a focus on the mediating roles of place attachment and tourist motivation. Through a self-administered questionnaire, data was collected from 217 tourists visiting northern areas of Pakistan. Results of partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) revealed that “cultural, environmental, and socio-economic image positively impact place attachment. Furthermore, place attachment and tourist motivation in sequence significantly mediate the influence of cultural, environmental, and socio-economic image on destination loyalty. This study makes a substantial contribution to the emerging literature on sustainability and its role in promoting destination loyalty. The study further provides guidelines for policymakers to adopt destination-specific strategies to boost tourism.
