Tourism promotes the economic development of agro-cultural heritage sites while causing the problem of spatial alienation, so exploring the spatial alienation problems based on the integration of culture and tourism is of great significance for achieving the sustainable development of tourism in agro-cultural heritage sites. This study took the Yuanyang Hani Terrace agro-cultural heritage site as the research area, constructed the model of the spatial system of the agro-cultural heritage site based on the classical grounded theory, and analyzed the spatial characteristics of the agro-cultural heritage site. The results show that the spatial disorder of the agro-cultural heritage site is caused by the interaction of the imbalance of physical space, the fragmentation of cultural space and the complications of social space. Next, this study constructed the model for the spatial restructuring of the agro-cultural heritage site in the context of culture and tourism integration, with the integration of management systems as a guiding force, the integration of talent systems as a crucial force, the integration of agricultural, cultural and tourism resources as a core force, the integration of the cultural and tourism industries as a driving force, the integration of ecology and culture as a basic force, and the integration of digital scenes as an innovative force. This study expands and deepens the spatial theory of tourist destinations and the knowledge system of cultural heritage tourism, and provides a systematic implementation framework and management tools for the integration of culture and tourism and the high-quality development of agro-cultural heritage sites.

Green development has become an important concept and an effective way to sustainably develop the tourism industry. Studying tourism green development promotes the construction of regional ecological civilizations and sustainable development. We systematically reviewed research on green development in the tourism industry and divided this body of work it into two stages: a germination exploration stage under the concept of sustainable development; and initial development under the green development concept. In addition, some important green development research methods, conceptualization and connotation of green development, an index system of green development evaluation to measure efficiency and influencing factors, green development models, and regulations and standards of enterprise green development countermeasures are discussed. This review affirms China's positive exploration and reference meaning to developing countries, and finds that the majority of research is qualitative; quantitativ...
Tourism at China’s cultural heritage sites has developed rapidly in recent years. These sites have encountered many challenging problems such as poor tourist experience, over-commercialization, and loss of cultural authenticity. This study took the coordinative green development of tourist experience and commercialization of tourism (CGDTECT) at cultural heritage sites as the research objective, using two UNESCO World Heritage Sites—the Ancient City of Pingyao and West Lake Cultural Landscape of Hangzhou—and the Confucius Temple in the historic district of Nanjing as case studies. As such, we attempted to construct an indicator system for CGDTECT at cultural heritage sites. We adopted a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and importance-performance analysis (IPA) method to analyze the importance and performance of CGDTECT from a tourist’s perspective. Our findings show that tourists thought the coordinative green development and experience at the three cultural heritage sites were more important; they were basically satisfied with CGDTECT at the three case studies, so a continuous promotion strategy could be taken. The findings of this study can provide scientific theoretical guidance and practical reference for CGDTECT at cultural heritage sites, and contribute to the scientific protection of cultural heritage sites and the sustainable development of tourism.
The large-scale and rapid development of tourism has led to many challenges in the sustainable development of Ecological Conservation Areas (ECAs). In this study, we constructed the model of the development potential of green tourism (DPGT) in ECAs. We then used this model to measure and analyze the spatial-temporal evolution of DPGT in Beijing's Ecological Conservation Area (BECA), and built the enhancement model of DPGT in BECA. Our results demonstrate that the DPGT in BECA continued to rise from 2011 to 2020, showing the spatial characteristics of high in the north and low in the south. Each district has a different development focus, so differentiated management measures need to be implemented in the different areas. Finally, we built the enhancement model of DPGT in BECA, with “zoning management, focused implementation” as the guideline, protective development of resources as the basic force, ecological optimization of the whole process as the sustainable force, high-quality building of industries as the core force, and the insistence on multi-subject participation as the guarantee force. This study developed a new method to measure DPGT in ECAs, and provided a systematic management framework for green tourism and regional green development in ECAs.
