Assoc. Professor Ing. Jozef Petrík, PhD (b. 1958) studied physical metallurgy at the Technical University of Košice, Slovakia (1982). He received his doctorate (PhD) in the field of iron metallurgy in 2000 and received his title (Doc.) in the field of production quality engineering in 2011. He currently works as a professor in the Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy, and Recycling of the Technical University of Košice. His research deals with metrology, measurement systems, statistics, and archaeometallurgy.
