Remote sensing technology has penetrated all the natural resource segments as it provides precise information in an image mode. Remote sensing satellites are currently the fastest-growing source of geographic area information. With the continuous change in the earth’s surface and the wide application of remote sensing, change detection is very useful for monitoring environmental and human needs. So, it is necessary to develop automatic change detection techniques to improve the quality and reduce the time required by manual image analysis. This work focuses on the improvement of the classification accuracy of the machine learning techniques by reviewing the training samples and comparing the post-classification comparison with the image differencing in the algebraic technique. Landsat data are medium spatial resolution data; that is why pixel-wise computation has been applied. Two change detection techniques have been studied by applying a decision tree algorithm using a separability matrix and image differencing. The first change detection, e.g., the separability matrix, is a post-classification comparison in which individual images are classified by a decision tree algorithm. The second change detection is, e.g., the image differencing change detection technique in which changed and unchanged pixels are determined by applying the corner method to calculate the threshold on the changing image. The performance of the machine learning algorithm has been validated by 10-fold cross-validation. The experimental results show that the change detection using the post-classification method produced better results when compared to the image differencing of the algebraic change detection technique.
Medical images and patient information are routinely transmitted to a remote radiologist to assist in diagnosis. It is critical in e-healthcare systems to ensure that data are accurately transmitted. Medical images of a person’s body can be used against them in many ways, including by transmitting them. Copyright and intellectual property laws prohibit the unauthorized use of medical images. Digital watermarking is used to prove the authenticity of the medical images before diagnosis. In this paper, we proposed a hybrid watermarking scheme using the Slantlet transform, randomized-singular value decomposition, and optimization techniques inspired by nature (Firefly algorithm). The watermark image is encrypted using the XOR encryption technique. Extensive testing reveals that our innovative approach outperforms the existing methods based on the NC, SSIM, and PSNR. The SSIM and NC values of watermarked image and extracted watermark are close to or equal to 1 at a scaling factor of 0.06, and the PSNR of the proposed scheme lies between 58 dB and 59 dB, which shows the better performance of the scheme.
This paper considers the basic concepts of q-calculus and the principle of subordination. We define a new subclass of q-starlike functions related to the Salagean q-differential operator. For this class, we investigate initial coefficient estimates, Hankel determinants, Toeplitz matrices, and Fekete-Szegö problem. Moreover, we consider the q-Bernardi integral operator to discuss some applications in the form of some results.
In our present investigation, we extend the idea of q-symmetric derivative operators to multivalent functions and then define a new subclass of multivalent q-starlike functions. For this newly defined function class, we discuss some useful properties of multivalent functions, such as the Hankel determinant, symmetric Toeplitz matrices, the Fekete–Szego problem, and upper bounds of the functional and investigate some new lemmas for our main results. In addition, we consider the q-Bernardi integral operator along with q-symmetric calculus and discuss some applications of our main results.
The stationary hierarchical network faces considerable challenges from hotspots and faster network breakdowns, especially in smart monitoring applications. As a solution to this issue, mobile sinks were recommended since they are associated with huge and balanced ways to transfer data and energy across the network. Again, due to the mobile sink node advertisement around the network latency and the energy utilization overheads introduced across the network, ring routing reduces the control overhead while preserving the benefits of the mobile sink, thereby optimizing the energy and improving the network life span. Consequently, we suggested a novel, distributed advanced ring routing strategy, in this work, for the mobile wireless sensor network. Extensive simulations and performance evaluation, in comparison to previous distributed mobile approaches, reveal a 37% and 40% boost in the network throughput and end-to end delay, respectively. Additionally, the lifespan of a network is determined by the control overhead and energy demand.
The behavior of the simplest realistic Oregonator model of the BZ-reaction from the perspective of KCC theory has been investigated. In order to reduce the complexity of the model, we initially transformed the first-order differential equation of the Oregonator model into a system of second-order differential equations. In this approach, we describe the evolution of the Oregonator model in geometric terms, by considering it as a geodesic in a Finsler space. We have found five KCC invariants using the general expression of the nonlinear and Berwald connections. To understand the chaotic behavior of the Oregonator model, the deviation vector and its curvature around equilibrium points are studied. We have obtained the necessary and sufficient conditions for the parameters of the system in order to have the Jacobi stability near the equilibrium points. Further, a comprehensive examination was conducted to compare the linear stability and Jacobi stability of the Oregonator model at its equilibrium points, and We highlight these instances with a few illustrative examples.
