Dr. Meng Li received his Bachelor’s in Engineering Mechanics and a Ph.D. in Mining Engineering from the China University of Mining and Technology. Since January 2021, he has been an associate researcher, master’s supervisor, and doctoral supervisor at China University of Mining and Technology. He is a member of the National Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program, the China Coal Society, the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, and the American SME Association. He is also a young and middle-aged editorial board member of journals such as “The Journal of Central South University (Natural Science)” and “International Journal of Minerals, Metallurgy, and Materials”, and a reviewer for more than 30 journals such as “Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering”. He is mainly engaged in scientific research and teaching in green backfill mining, mine solid waste disposal and utilization, mining functional materials, and mining rock mechanics.
