Eran Friedler is a Prof. in the Faculty of Civil and Env. Engineering at the Technion – Israel Inst. of Technology. He devotes much of his research efforts to the development and integration of alternative water sources into the urban water cycle, as a means of improving the sustainability of urban water use. He has published more than 80 papers in peer-reviewed journals, numerous conference papers, and co-authored a book entitled "Greywater Reuse". Friedler serves as an Associate Editor of the Urban Water Journal, a member of the editorial board of Water, and he was the 2017 International Honorary Member of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists.
