Filippo Marchelli completed his degrees in Chemical Engineering at the University of Genova, and then received a PhD in Sustainable Energy and Technologies at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. He is currently working as a research fellow at the University of Trento. His main research interests are the valorisation of waste biomass through thermochemical and hydrothermal processes and the study of fluidized beds, through both modelling and experimental approaches.
