Dr. Snežana Uskoković-Marković is a full professor in the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Belgrade. She graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade in 1993 with an average score of 10.00 during the study. Her masters and doctoral thesis were defended at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade. She is the co-author of three practicums for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy. She has participated in over 250 commissions and mentored seventy diploma works and seven student research papers. She completed the training of university teachers at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. Dr. Uskoković-Markovićis has been continually engaged in scientific research, including international projects with France's “Structures and mobilite ionique / protonique de solides reseaux hotes” (CNRS) and Greece's “Design of humidity sensors based on heteropolyacid systems” (National Technical University of Athens). She has published 120 publications: three monographs and seventy-two articles in international and national journals. She has presented fifty-two papers, including three invited lectures at international conferences. Her research interests are the application of vibration spectroscopy, superionic proton conductors, zeolites, heteropoly compounds-characterization and bioactivity determination, elemental profile-analysis of plant material and soil samples, and ionic speciation.
