Louise Kjølbæk, Assistant Professor, holds a Ph.D. in Obesity Research (2017) from University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and a M.Sc. in Human Nutrition (2012) from University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Louise Kjølbæk has conducted several randomised controlled trials examining the effect of food/nutrients in the field of overweight and overweight-related diseases, e.g., type-2-diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Louise Kjølbæk is interested in the nutritional prevention and treatment of diseases, and her research covers important areas, such as whole foods, e.g., dairy products; minerals, e.g., calcium; and food matrix, sweetener, and macronutrient effects on relevant risk factors, e.g., glucose and lipid metabolism, appetite, and weight control, including personalised nutrition.
