I am Jing Zhang, a lecturer and master’s supervisor at the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Henan Agricultural University. I earned my Doctor of Engineering degree in Agricultural Mechanization Engineering from Zhejiang University. Currently, I serve as a member of multiple prestigious academic societies including the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), the Chinese Society for Agricultural Engineering and the Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery. Meanwhile, I work as an invited reviewer for several top-tier SCI journals and the Transactions of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering, engaging extensively in academic evaluation and exchanges worldwide.
My primary research and academic interests focus on intelligent agricultural machinery and equipment, protected agricultural robots, as well as non-destructive detection technologies for fruit and vegetable quality. Aiming to address practical bottlenecks in modern agricultural production, I have devoted myself to developing intelligent harvesting robots and novel non-destructive testing methodologies for horticultural products. In recent years, I have independently led five research projects, including the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and key scientific and technological research projects of Henan Province.
As the first author, I have published nine SCI papers and five EI-indexed papers in top agricultural and food engineering journals, among which three are
