M. Rosario Blanc is Full Professor of the Department of Analytical Chemistry (University of Granada). She is co-author of 46 scientific articles in specialized journals indexed with a high impact factor in JCR and SJR, 18 scientific articles in other publications and 5 book chapters, participating in numerous presentations at national and international conferences (58). She has co-supervised 6 Doctoral Theses, 1 Diploma of Advanced Studies, 5 Master's Theses, and 30 Bachelor's Theses. 35 of the published articles, 5 book chapters, 31 conference papers, 5 co-supervised doctoral theses, 1 Advanced Studies Diploma, 1 Master's theses, and 27 Bachelor's theses are related to the research line, developed from 2002 to the present, in the field of Analytical Chemistry applied to the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage. This research line aims to develop and apply analytical methods for the identification and characterization of the materials in Cultural Heritage and the materials used for its restoration. It also involves the chemical study of the degradation of these materials and the effects and consequences of restoration treatments in order to implement improvements for the conservation of these works of art. She has been the principal investigator of 2 research projects and 3 research contracts and member of the research team of 11 research projects. She has participated in the creation of a Unit of Non-Invasive Analytical Techniques.
