The paper aims to investigate the processing execution of SS316 in manageable machining cooling ways such as dry, wet, and cryogenic (LN2‐liquid nitrogen). Furthermore, “one parametric approach” was utilized to study the influence and carry out the comparative analysis of LN2over dry and LN2over wet machining conditions. Response surface methodology (RSM) is incorporated to build a relationship model among the considered independent variables (spindle speed: (S, rpm), feed rate (F, mm/min), and depth of cut (doc) (D, mm)) and the dependent variable (surface roughness (Ra)). Since there is the involvement of more than one independent variable, the generation of regression equation is “multiple linear regression.” Based on the attained coefficient value of the independent variable, the respective impact on surface roughness is identified. The results of comparative analysis of LN2over dry and LN2over wet machining states revealed that LN2 machining yielded better surface finish with up to 64.9%, 54.9% over dry and wet machining, respectively, indicating the benefits of LN2 for achieving better Ra. The benchmark function of the proposed mode hybrid‐bias (BNN‐SVR) algorithm showcases the propensity to emerge out of the local minimum and coincide with the optimal target value. The performance of the (BNN‐SVR) is a prevalent new ability to fetch the partially trained weights from the BNN model into the SVR model, thus leading to the conversion of static learning capability to dynamic capability. The performances of the adopted prediction approaches are compared through a range of attained error deviation, i.e., (RA: 3.95%–8.43%), (BNN: 2.36%–5.88%), (SVR: 1.04%–3.61%), respectively. Hybrid‐bias (BNN‐SVR) is the best suitable prediction model as it provides significant evidence by attaining less error in predicting Ra. However, SVR surpasses BNN and RSM approaches because of the convergence factor and narrow margin error.

The proliferation of internet services in various industries, especially the financial sector, has increased financial fraud. Fraud detection and prevention are critical to protecting both individuals and organizations from significant financial loss. However, the lack of publicly available datasets containing fraud is a major challenge. This study aims to address these issues using advanced machine learning techniques. Known for their ability to provide insight into data, decision trees are used for real-time fraud detection. In addition, deep learning techniques and artificial neural networks (ANN) are used to detect complex fraud patterns, while logistic regression is used to model the probability of fraudulent events. The accuracy of these methods, including decision trees, logistic regression, and ANN, is fully evaluated, with accuracies of 99.8%, 99.9%, and 99.94%, respectively. These findings provide valuable guidance for companies on choosing effective anti-fraud strategies and shed light on the adaptability of algorithms to real financial contexts, contributing to machine learning-based fraud detection.

Carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites have gradually replaced metals due to their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio compared to metallic materials. However, the drilling process often reveals various defects, such as surface roughness, influenced by different drilling parameters. This study explores the drilling quality of uni-directional CFRP composites, as well as hybrid Al2O3 alumina and hybrid SiC silicon carbide nano-composites, through experimental exploration using step, core, and twist drills. Response surface methodology (RSM) and statistical tools, including main effect plots, ANOVA, contour plots, and optimization techniques, were used to analyze the surface roughness of the hole. Optimization plots were drawn for optimal conditions, suggesting a spindle speed of 1500 rpm, feed of 0.01 mm/rev, and a 4 mm drill diameter for achieving minimum surface roughness. Furthermore, two machine learning models, artificial neural network (ANN) and random forest (RF), were used for predictive analysis. The findings revealed the robust predictive capabilities of both models, with RF demonstrating superior performance over ANN and RSM. Through visual comparisons and error analyses, more insights were gained into model accuracy and potential avenues for improvement.

In this paper, an attempt has been made to apply the neural network (NN) techniques to predict the mechanical properties of friction stir welded composite materials. Nowadays, friction stri welding of composites are predominatally used in aerospace, automobile and shipbuilding applications. The welding process parameters like rotational speed, welding speed, tool pin profile and type of material play a foremost role in determining the weld strength of the base material. An error back propagation algorithm based model is developed to map the input and output relation of friction stir welded composite material. The proposed model is able to predict the joint strength with minimum error.

The data set presented is related to the milling process of AA6061-4.5%Cu-5%SiCp composite. The data primarily concentrates on predicting values of some machining responses, such as cutting force, surface finish and power utilization utilizing using forward back propagation neural network based approach, i.e. ANN based on three process parameters, such as spindle speed, feed rate and depth of cut.The comparing reverse model is likewise created to prescribe the ideal settings of processing parameters for accomplishing the desired responses as indicated by the necessities of the end clients. These modelling approaches are very proficient to foresee the benefits of machining responses and also process parameter settings in light of the experimental technique.
