Julia Ivanisenko (WEB of Science Researcher ID: F-9479-2010) graduated with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Ufa State Aviation Technical University and received her PhD in applied physics at the Institute for Metals Superplasticity Problems of Russian Academy of Sciences in Ufa, Russia in 1990 and 1997, respectively. She works as a Research Scientist at the Institute for Nanotechnology, Karlsruhe Institute for Technology since September 2003, where she leads a research group now. Dr. Ivanisenko’s research is mostly in the areas of severe plastic deformation, mechanical properties of nanostructured materials and mechanically driven phase transformations.
