In the last decade, agricultural cooperatives have become increasingly popular in the food industry. This paper aims to shed light on the extensive literature on agricultural cooperatives. Design/Methodology/Approach: In conducting this review, we applied the bibliometric review method. Initially, we retrieved 1249 bibliometric data from the Scopus database, which were reduced to 364 documents after applying the PRISMA guidelines. The data were filtered using the following keywords: “agricultural marketing cooperatives”, “agricultural marketing societies”, “performance”, “value chains”, and “supply chains”. Findings: According to our findings, the present research is primarily focused on smallholders, sustainability, and supply chain management topics. We found that current research lacks an understanding of why agricultural cooperatives fail in terms of finances, investments, and implementation of strategies. We conclude that agricultural marketing cooperatives in their current state and legal form might not be flexible enough to compete in markets due to global and sustainability concerns. Finally, we provide a practical roadmap for researchers, investors, policymakers, and non-profits. Limitations: The main limitation of our review is that it contains only studies found in Scopus and examines only the English language literature. Originality/Value: Bibliometric analyses focused on agriculture cooperatives are scarce, and this paper provides a broader perspective of the existing literature. Moreover, it identifies research gaps and current trends in the field while providing a detailed description of how agricultural cooperative research has evolved over time.

The integrative role of human resource management continues to rise as a topic in sustainable and smart agriculture. This dual focus emphasizes new solutions for agricultural businesses and rural areas, incorporating academic concepts with practical implementations to address the pressing challenges coming from the implementation of labor-saving technologies. The study employs the integrative review method, along with science mapping of literature. After a careful selection of studies from the Scopus database, we included 149 papers for our analysis. Our findings suggest that the overall scholarly work has been concentrated on the topics of entrepreneurship and organizational structure. We conclude that the literature is mostly directed toward sustainability development goals such as gender, diversity, and youth. The current trends topics are “collective action” and “artificial intelligence”. Furthermore, our study offered insights into developing and emerging themes, trends, and future directions. The HRM functions that play a pivotal role in the adoption of labor-saving technology adoption are knowledge management, change management, labor allocation, sustainability allocation, and regulatory compliance. Moreover, we provided the practical implementation of the HRM roles and future directions. This study benefits agricultural researchers, agricultural managers, and policymakers because it gives a comprehensive and interdisciplinary perspective.

Background/Purpose: As the automotive industry continues to develop due to technological advancements, so too do the challenges connected with globalization of operations and the strategic management of human resources. Therefore, our objective was to map the current research work performed for the period of 2014–2024. Moreover, we conducted a comprehensive analysis regarding emerging topics related to strategic human resources, workforce planning and forecasting, employee wellness, and reskilling/upskilling. Study Design/Methodology/Approach: The methodology used for this review was a Systematic Literature Review, following the PRISMA protocol to remove biases in the review. The search keywords were: workforce planning, strategic HR, skills, employee wellness, and upskilling. In total, 180 articles were retrieved from SCOPUS. Findings: We found that the scholarly work over the year has fluctuated, showing an overall increasing trend of scientific production. The principal themes discussed were ‘human, ergonomics, and industrial research’. The research trends were: leadership, knowledge management, innovation, skills, and COVID-19. We concluded that most of the impact on employee satisfaction and upskilling is on an operational level. Originality/Value: Furthermore, our comprehensive review offers theoretical and practical implications in line with the COVID-19 impact and HR strategies.

Instant noodles have become a staple convenience food worldwide, with rising consumption particularly among younger, busier populations. This study investigates consumer perceptions, health concerns, consumption habits, and purchasing behaviors related to pre-packaged noodles in Kosovo. A structured questionnaire was administered to 400 participants, exploring attitudes toward health impacts, ingredient awareness, product preferences, and purchasing motivations. Findings revealed mixed perceptions of noodle healthiness, with older and more educated individuals significantly more likely to view them as unhealthy (p < 0.001). Although most respondents expressed concern about ingredients such as fat, calories, and salt, awareness of additives like monosodium glutamate (MSG) remained low (p < 0.001), indicating a gap in consumer knowledge. Consumption patterns varied notably by age, gender, income, and health status. Younger and lower-income groups consumed noodles more frequently (p < 0.001), often driven by time constraints rather than taste or nutritional value. One-third of participants reported a sense of addiction, strongly linked to both frequency and portion size. When purchasing, consumers prioritized label clarity, origin, and natural ingredients over sensory appeal, and advertising exerted only a moderate influence on choices. These results suggest that while practical needs drive consumption, health concerns and demographic factors strongly shape perceptions and behavior. Efforts to reduce unhealthy consumption should focus on clearer labeling, accessible nutrition education, and promoting healthier, convenient alternatives.

This study offers a thorough exploration of critical consideration of resilience in pharmaceutical supply chains, aiming to provide a comprehensive overview of the existing literature on this subject. Given the increasing globalization, regulatory complexities, and disruptions, the pharmaceutical industry encounters unique challenges in maintaining the business continuity of supply chains. Design/Methodology/Approach: We conducted a systematic analysis of 41 documents, including articles, reviews, and conference papers, employing bibliometric methods to visualize the dataset. Findings: Our findings indicate a notable increase in literature in recent years, particularly concerning risk mitigation strategies, collaboration among supply chain stakeholders, and investments in technology-driven solutions for resilience in pharmaceutical supply chains. Furthermore, we have identified several research directions. This review emphasizes the necessity for ongoing scholarly efforts aimed at fostering pharmaceutical supply chains resilience given the post-COVID-19 situation with goal of ensuring the uninterrupted availability of essential medications to patients worldwide.

Agritourism is increasingly intersecting with digital technologies to foster rural resilience, economic growth, and sustainable development. This study conducts a comprehensive systematic bibliometric review to map the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and collaborative networks characterizing the digitalization of agritourism from 2010 to 2025. Guided by the PRISMA framework, data from the Scopus database were analyzed using scientific mapping techniques, including keyword co-occurrence, thematic evolution tracking, and spatial collaboration analysis. The findings reveal a paradigm shift categorized into three evolutionary phases: an incubation period of basic web adoption (2011–2017), a disruptive phase catalyzed by the COVID-19 pandemic (2018–2022), and an exponential maturation phase driven by Industry 4.0 technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and Virtual Reality (2023–2025). Four primary thematic clusters emerged: digital marketing and connectivity, smart tourism and advanced analytics, immersive technologies for heritage preservation, and macro-level sustainability policies. Geopolitically, research is driven by two distinct networks: an Asian-centric hub led by China focusing on state-sponsored smart villages, and a Western hub anchored by the USA and Italy emphasizing entrepreneurial diversification. The study concludes that digitalization has transitioned from a reactive survival mechanism to a proactive strategic necessity. It highlights the critical need to bridge the digital divide through human capital investment and provides a future research agenda focusing on the ethical application of AI, the circular economy, and the preservation of rural authenticity in emerging ’phygital’ environments.
