Dr. Mohd Yamani Idna Idris

Mohd Yamani Idna Idris received his bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical), Master of Computer Science and Phd from Universiti Malaya. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Computer Systems, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is the author of a book, more than 110 articles in reputable Journals, and more than 20 inventions. His research interest is in Internet of Things, computer vision, image/signal processing, embedded system, sensor network and cyber security. He has supervised more than 15 phd graduates (as of 1/12/2021). Apart from research, Dr Yamani has vast experience in administration and management. He has hold post such as Coordinator for Master of Computer Science, Head of Department, Acting Deputy Dean (Academic), Deputy Dean (Research and Development). Dr Yamani also has received several national and international research and innovation awards including from Malaysian Technology Expo (MTE), International Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX) and many more. In addition, he has received certificate of excellent service (3 times) and excellent service awards (3 times)
