Aleksander Król is a researcher and a lecturer at the Silesian University of Technology. He works at the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering and deals with the issues of transport safety, especially road tunnels fire safety. The domain of his interests also includes artificial intelligence methods applied for transport management. Recently, he was a co-leader of the full scale experiments on the operation of fire ventilation in road tunnels.
