Prof. Omorogieva Ojo is a Professor in Nutrition and Diabetes. He earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Animal Science from Nigerian’s premier University, University of Ibadan and his Ph.D. in Nutrition from the University of Greenwich, London. He also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes from the University of Surrey, Roehampton, UK. He is a Registered Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition, UK and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. The focus of Prof. Ojo’s research is nutritional interventions in diabetes and other chronic conditions. He has published widely in many international journals, presented at many international conferences, and edited books. He is also a Practice Lead in Centres for Chronic Illness and Ageing, and Exercise Activity and Rehabilitation. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Lifecourse Development (ILD), University of Greenwich. He is on the editorial board of many international journals including Nutrients and International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health. He has been a guest editor of eight special issues in the areas of nutrition and/or diabetes. He is a peer reviewer for many international journals and international grant-awarding bodies. He has also been a member of the Scientific and Organising Committee and a keynote speaker at many international conferences. He has been cited over 2500 times, and his H index is 27.
