Dr. Cristina Soguero-Ruiz received their Telecommunication Engineering degree, B.Sc. degree in Business Administration and Management, and M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid, Spain, in 2011 and 2012. She obtained her Ph.D. in Machine Learning with an application in Healthcare and Business Intelligence in 2015. She won the Orange Foundation Best Ph.D. Thesis Award by the Spanish Official College of Telecommunications Engineers. Her main research interests include statistical learning theory, digital signal processing, with application to eHealth, electronic health records, and marketing. In 2016, she became a faculty member of the Department of Signal Theory and Communications, King Juan Carlos University, Madrid, Spain, where she is currently an associate professor.
