Dr. Monirosadat Sadati is currently Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing at the University of South Carolina, beginning in 2019. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Polymer Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology and a Doctorate in Materials Science at ETH Zurich in 2012. She was a Postdoctoral Associate at Harvard from 2012 to 2014 and at the University of Chicago from 2014 to 2018. Her research interests include polymer physics; rheology; liquid crystals; cell mechanics; data analysis; and soft matter.
