Information resources have increased rapidly in the big data era. Geospatial data plays an indispensable role in spatially informed analyses, while data in different areas are relatively isolated. Therefore, it is inadequate to use relational data in handling many semantic intricacies and retrieving geospatial data. In light of this, a heterogeneous retrieval method based on knowledge graph is proposed in this paper. There are three advantages of this method: (1) the semantic knowledge of geospatial data is considered; (2) more information required by users could be obtained; (3) data retrieval speed can be improved. Firstly, implicit semantic knowledge is studied and applied to construct a knowledge graph, integrating semantics in multi-source heterogeneous geospatial data. Then, the query expansion rules and the mappings between knowledge and database are designed to construct retrieval statements and obtain related spatial entities. Finally, the effectiveness and efficiency are verified through comparative analysis and practices. The experiment indicates that the method could automatically construct database retrieval statements and retrieve more relevant data. Additionally, users could reduce the dependence on data storage mode and database Structured Query Language syntax. This paper would facilitate the sharing and outreach of geospatial knowledge for various spatial studies.

This study proposes a vessel position prediction method using attention spatiotemporal graph convolutional networks, which addresses the issue of low prediction accuracy due to less consideration of inter-feature dependencies in current vessel trajectory prediction methods. First, the method cleans the vessel trajectory data and uses the Time-ratio trajectory compression algorithm to compress the trajectory data, avoiding data redundancy and providing feature points for vessel trajectories. Second, the Spectral Temporal Graph Neural Network (StemGNN) extracts the correlation matrix that describes the relationship between multiple variables as a priori matrix input to the prediction model. Then the vessel trajectory prediction model is constructed, and the attention mechanism is added to the spatial and temporal dimensions of the trajectory data based on the spatio-temporal graph convolutional network at the same time as the above operations are performed on different time scales. Finally, the features extracted from different time scales are fused through the full connectivity layer to predict the future trajectories. Experimental results show that this method achieves higher accuracy and more stable prediction results in trajectory prediction. The attention-based spatio-temporal graph convolutional networks effectively capture the spatio-temporal correlations of the main features in vessel trajectories, and the spatio-temporal attention mechanism and graph convolution have certain interpretability for the prediction results.

To address the issue of data integrity and reliability caused by sparse vessel trajectory data, this paper proposes a multi-step restoration method for sparse vessel trajectory based on feature correlation. First, we preserved the overall trend of the trajectory by detecting and marking the sparse and abnormal vessel trajectories points and using the cubic spline interpolation method for preliminary restoration. Then, we established a composite indicator of feature correlation for selecting highly correlated trajectory features as inputs to the model, reducing data redundancy while improving the key correlation between trajectory features. Finally, we developed a vessel trajectory restoration model based on the Seq2Seq network for secondary restoration of the trajectory to ensure the accurate restoration of the vessel trajectory. Through comparison and ablation experiments, we demonstrate that the method can efficiently extract highly correlated features from vessel trajectories and combines the advantages of the interpolation method and neural network model to effectively improve the accuracy of trajectory restoration and ensure the integrity and accuracy of trajectory data. The research results could provide crucial technical support for the subsequent mining of vessel behavior patterns and assisted decision-making, which holds significant application prospects and potential value.

Recently, high spatial resolution remote sensing image scene classification has had a wide range of applications and has become one of the hotspots in the field of remote sensing research. Due to the complexity of the scenes in remote sensing images, it is impossible to annotate all ground object classes at once. To adapt to different application scenarios, high spatial resolution remote sensing image scene classification models need to have zero-shot generalization ability for unseen classes. To improve the zero-shot generalization ability of classification models, the existing methods often start from the perspective of image features, thus ignoring the high-order semantic information in the scene. In fact, the association between higher-order semantic information in the scene is very important for the generalization ability of the classification model. People often use image information and its corresponding higher-order semantic information to complete remote sensing image scene understanding. Therefore, this work proposes a text guided remote sensing image pre-training model for zero-shot classification of high spatial resolution remote sensing image scenes. First, the transformer model is used to extract the embedded features of text and remote sensing images. Then, based on the aligned text and remote sensing image data, a contrast learning method is used to train the model to learn the correspondence between text and image features. After the model training is completed, the nearest neighbor method is used to complete zero-shot classification on the target data. The effectiveness of the proposed method was verified on three remote sensing image scene classification benchmark datasets.

The trajectory data collected by an Automatic Identification System (AIS) are an essential resource for various ships, and effective filtering and querying approaches are fundamental for managing these data. Natural language has become the preferred way to express complex query requirements and intents, due to its intuitiveness and universal applicability. In light of this, we propose a natural language-based AIS trajectory query approach using large language models. Firstly, trajectory textualization was designed to convert the time sequences of trajectories into semantic descriptions by segmenting AIS trajectories, extracting semantics, and constructing trajectory documents. Then, the semantic trajectory querying was completed by rewriting queries, retrieving AIS trajectories, and generating answers. Finally, comparative experiments were conducted to highlight the improvements in accuracy and relevance achieved by our proposed method over traditional approaches. Furthermore, a human study demonstrated the user-friendly interaction experience enabled by our approach. Additionally, we conducted an ablation study to illustrate the significant contributions of each module within our framework. The results demonstrate that our approach effectively bridges the gap between AIS trajectories and natural language query intents, offering an intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible solution for domain experts and novices.
