Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Ola is a Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He earned his Ph.D. at the Aligarh Muslim University in 1998. From 2017 to 2024, he worked as an Associate Professor at the King Saud University. His major area of research interest is to understand the cellular and molecular basis of diabetes and its complications, more specifically diabetic retinopathy using animal models.
